This orchestral chair has many adjustments for musicians of different heights. The O.D.E. Base comes with one or two foot rests and is suitable for both left- and right- handed musicians. The foot rest prevents the chair from tilting forward!

The O.D.E. BASE – the double bass players ergonomic base features:

  • Choose between a rotating or static base
  • Tilt for backrest and seat angle adjustment
  • Seat height adjustment
  • High comfort seat maintains blood circulation
  • Backrest allows sideways movement
  • Use of two footrests is possible
  • Footrest lies against the floor, reducing the risk of tipping
  • Footrest adjustments for distance and height
  • The rubber covered footrest is no hazard to the instrument
  • Circular footrest ring is between 8 and 25 cm from the floor
  • The height of the seat is adjustable from 60 cm to 80 cm
  • The steel frame is coloured black with a chrome column
  • Standard colour of the fabric is black, other colours by request
